About the U.S.A. Green Card Lottery. Although there are other bases for obtaining permanent residency in the United States, for example, through close family ties to U.S. citizens or permanent residents, or through employment offers by U.S. employers, there is a new basis for obtaining permanent residence ("green card") in the United States through the Visa Lottery. The true name of this program is the "Diversity Immigration Program". There are specific deadlines and applications procedures which must be met in order to enter a lottery applicant, but if your name is selected, you will become eligible to receive permanent residence in the U.S. (a "green card"). Our network lawyers and immigration consultants can prepare your and your family's visa lottery applications and submit them to ensure proper compliance and delivery to the Immigration Services. You can send us your data today and rest assured that it will be prepared correctly and properly delivered to the Immigration Services. If you missed the deadline for the most recent visa lottery, you know how easily this can happen. You can avoid this by sending us your visa lottery data today and having attorneys who regularly correspond with the Immigration Service properly submit your application.
